WORKING WITH SIBLING ARCHITECTURE TO CREATE OUR FIRST FLAGSHIP STORE FOR HAULIER, I LOOKED AT AIRPORT DESIGN FROM THE 1970S IN PARTICULAR AND INFUSED ELEMENTS OF THIS INTO OUR FIRST RETAIL ENVIRONMENT. IN PARTICULAR THE FLOOR AND CEILING TREATMENTS WHICH WERE INSPIRED BY THE TRANSIT LOUNGES, TERMINALS AND WALKWAYS GRACED BY TRAVELLERS IN HEATHROW AND CDG DURING THAT TIME.
